i must admit that the straight stitch did seem to make piece quilting go smoother. Although there were no issues with the wider-9mm- plate, There were no issues with fabric being caught with the straight stitch plate.
However, I feel this should have been a standard issue with the machine.

I have not seen with it but it fits my B480 perfectly.
