Meet Bernina Jeff – Your Sewing Machine Expert
For over 60 years, Hi Fashion Sewing Machines & Quilt Shop has been Grand Junction’s go-to spot for quality fabrics, trusted service, and sewing know-how. At the heart of it all is Jeff Vogel, better known to tens of thousands online as “Bernina Jeff.”
Jeff grew up in the family shop, learning the trade from his mother, Arlene — long before he could even drive a delivery van full of fabric bolts. Today, he combines his lifelong passion for sewing with mechanical know-how to help sewists around the world get the most out of their machines.
During the 2020 pandemic, Jeff started his YouTube channel, Bernina Jeff, to teach machine troubleshooting and share his favorite tools. What began as a few helpful videos has grown into a thriving community of 50,000+ subscribers. His channel features tips, tutorials, and must-have sewing gadgets — many of which are available right here on his website.
When he’s not filming in his Grand Junction shop, Jeff is helping customers choose the right accessories, discover hidden features on their machines, and keep their Berninas, Baby Locks, and more running like new.

I wish I had the table ages ago. Easy to use and maneuvering whatever you are quilting is a dream.
Although it took a bit to align it and I had to secure the cable to keep the laser from drifting, it seems to be accurate and very helpful. I did have to lower the brightness of the lights on my 790PRO in order to see the laser clearly as it neared the needle. Handy tool and I appreciate the ease of use!
I enjoy everything that Bernina makes. This does require some practice on sewing. I wanted to keep my circle small, but the hole got much larger on my first attempt to repair a small tear in some pants. I did not get a chance to practice beforehand but learned as I went. It is a nice tool and I look forwards to using it in the future for true eyelet work!
Love these, very durable, and hopefully they never are needed, but every time I transport my Bernina, these will be protecting my machine. I plan to keep them right inside the trolley. Thank you Bernina Jeff for prompt delivery and professional transaction.❤️

This laser works really well. I’m using it on my 790 Pro and have used it for half square triangles and have also used it to mark 1/4” from needle. It’s fairly easy to adjust.
This laser light is a game changer! It fits perfectly, the small profile isn’t clumsy or in the way and it does a great job of helping me keep my seams at a consistent size and keeps them straight! I highly recommend this product!
