Meet Bernina Jeff – Your Sewing Machine Expert
For over 60 years, Hi Fashion Sewing Machines & Quilt Shop has been Grand Junction’s go-to spot for quality fabrics, trusted service, and sewing know-how. At the heart of it all is Jeff Vogel, better known to tens of thousands online as “Bernina Jeff.”
Jeff grew up in the family shop, learning the trade from his mother, Arlene — long before he could even drive a delivery van full of fabric bolts. Today, he combines his lifelong passion for sewing with mechanical know-how to help sewists around the world get the most out of their machines.
During the 2020 pandemic, Jeff started his YouTube channel, Bernina Jeff, to teach machine troubleshooting and share his favorite tools. What began as a few helpful videos has grown into a thriving community of 50,000+ subscribers. His channel features tips, tutorials, and must-have sewing gadgets — many of which are available right here on his website.
When he’s not filming in his Grand Junction shop, Jeff is helping customers choose the right accessories, discover hidden features on their machines, and keep their Berninas, Baby Locks, and more running like new.

Great price, quality part & same-day shipping
A really nice kit. However I’m wondering where I can go to see how to use the hook cleaning tool.
Super quick service!
Great service!
When ever I need something, you always provide. People just need to find you. I spread the good word when I can.
Live it, the original Bernina thread cutter never worked out & finally fell off, I replaced it with yours. Live it. And it works better than ever.
Have you designed any with a curved mount for the B990?
Love it
Works great I like the extra support.
I located it on the right side of my machine. It is handy and no more fumbling around to find it
Jeff kept me posted on my order
The order arrived very we’ll protect
