Meet Bernina Jeff – Your Sewing Machine Expert
For over 60 years, Hi Fashion Sewing Machines & Quilt Shop has been Grand Junction’s go-to spot for quality fabrics, trusted service, and sewing know-how. At the heart of it all is Jeff Vogel, better known to tens of thousands online as “Bernina Jeff.”
Jeff grew up in the family shop, learning the trade from his mother, Arlene — long before he could even drive a delivery van full of fabric bolts. Today, he combines his lifelong passion for sewing with mechanical know-how to help sewists around the world get the most out of their machines.
During the 2020 pandemic, Jeff started his YouTube channel, Bernina Jeff, to teach machine troubleshooting and share his favorite tools. What began as a few helpful videos has grown into a thriving community of 50,000+ subscribers. His channel features tips, tutorials, and must-have sewing gadgets — many of which are available right here on his website.
When he’s not filming in his Grand Junction shop, Jeff is helping customers choose the right accessories, discover hidden features on their machines, and keep their Berninas, Baby Locks, and more running like new.

Excellent pen light, very bright beam. This is my second light, I decided I needed one for my sewing room as well as one dedicated to my class machine. I had a very minor problem, the battery was dead, the package was damaged in shipping which turned the light on.
I love mine so much. It makes the maintenance chore so much easier.
